Chain Sling

Heavy Duty, High Strength Lifting Solution

Our Chain Sling is a robust and reliable lifting solution designed for demanding industrial and construction applications.

Constructed with high-strength steel, this sling is engineered for heavy lifting, providing exceptional durability, flexibility, and safety in the toughest environments.

Ideal for hoisting, rigging, and material handling, the chain sling is perfect for applications where high load-bearing capacity, abrasion resistance, and extreme working conditions are a priority.

Key Features

Material

Made from high-quality alloy steel, the chain sling is designed to offer superior tensile strength and durability, ideal for lifting heavy, abrasive, or rough materials. The alloy steel construction ensures a long service life even under the most challenging conditions.

Chain Grade

Available in Grade 100 (Grade 80 by request), offering different load capacities to meet specific lifting requirements. Grade 80 provides excellent strength and durability, while Grade 100 offers even higher performance for heavy-duty applications.

Size & Length

Chains are available in various diameters, ranging from 1/4” (6mm) to 1” (25mm) or custom sizes. The length of the sling can be tailored to meet specific lifting needs, from short slings to multi-leg configurations.

Load Capacity

Rated with a working load limit (WLL) from 2 tons to over 100 tons, depending on the chain grade, size, and length of the sling. Each chain is tested to ensure it meets stringent load-bearing standards.

Safety Factor

Chain slings come with a 5:1 safety factor, meaning they are capable of handling five times the rated load limit to ensure an added layer of safety during lifting operations.

End Fittings

Each chain sling can be equipped with various fittings for versatility, such as grab hooks, sling hooks, clevises, or shackles, to suit different lifting configurations. Custom end fittings are available to meet specific requirements.

Coating

Chain slings are offered with hot-dip galvanized or painted finishes for enhanced protection against corrosion and wear, especially in harsh outdoor or marine environments.

Temperature Range

The chain sling operates efficiently in a wide temperature range, capable of withstanding heat up to 400°F (204°C) and cold temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) without compromising its integrity.

Compliance

Manufactured in accordance with international lifting and safety standards, including OSHA, ASME B30.9, and EN 818-2. Each sling undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it meets or exceeds the required performance and safety specifications.

Benefits

High tensile strength for safe handling of heavy and abrasive loads.
Versatile design for various lifting configurations, including single-leg or multi-leg slings.
Superior wear resistance, especially in harsh environments.
Easy to inspect, repair, and maintain for long-term use.
Customizable to meet unique lifting needs and safety requirements.

Maintenance

Chain slings should be regularly inspected for signs of wear, cracks, or deformation. Lubrication is recommended to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation. Chains should be inspected for any links that show signs of elongation or damage.
